This charming Evanston residence, originally constructed in the 1940s, possessed inherent character that we sought to enhance. A fresh coat of warm, neutral white paint immediately brightened the interior, creating a clean backdrop for the design to unfold. We then introduced a curated collection of original, eclectic artwork, strategically placed to complement the architectural details and infuse the home with personality. This neutral foundation allowed us to layer a rich tapestry of colors and textures throughout the spaces. Custom wool rugs, meticulously handwoven in India, were commissioned specifically for this project, adding warmth and a sense of bespoke luxury underfoot. Embracing the clients’ desire for vibrant, energizing environments, we incorporated bold hues and playful patterns, creating a home that feels both dynamic and welcoming. The careful integration of antique pieces adds a layer of historical depth and curated elegance, resulting in a residence that is both inviting and thoughtfully composed.
